After exhaustive searches in the Larchmont area, my husband and I began looking for houses in Rye Brook. We were referred to Jennifer, and were immediately impressed by her friendly demeanor, and her knowledge of the area and the local real estate market. Jennifer immediately took to my 2 year old son, who has a crush on her, and is convinced the house we bought is "Jennifer's house". As a mother, Jennifer was insightful to a mother's specific needs. In fact, I was surprised when she said, "the road is going to be a problem for you on this next house," as I had recently passed on a house because of the road. She was extremely honest and keyed in on what was important to our family. I thought Jennifer went above and beyond the call of duty. I don't think its common place for real estate brokers to meet with contractors at the house to get estimates on your behalf, yet she accommodated such requests every time we needed. She has given us recommendations that go beyond the scope of a house: pediatricians, nannies, doctors, activities for children, etc. The process of viewing houses with Jennifer was so enjoyable that I forgot it was her work. She was extremely patient and did not pressure us in any way. I don't know that we were even seriously considering Rye Brook when we started working with her, but she found our perfect house. She was instrumental in making our transition to Rye Brook a smooth one.

As first-time homeowners, selling our home was an entirely new experience that presented its own challenges completely different from when we first bought our home. Jennifer walked us through each step as if the house she was selling was her own. She helped us set a competitive price, got the house listed at the opportune time with tasteful photos and detailed descriptions and was instrumental in the negotiations that inevitably occur during the process. All the while she continued to assist our search for a new home in a new town going out of her way to make sure we found what we wanted down to the final detail. The real estate market can be a scary place without the proper guidance. We are thankful that we found Jennifer and would certainly work with her again in the future.

Working with Jennifer has been easy and enjoyable. She handled our home sale and new purchase smoothly, attentive to our needs throughout the process. As a builder in Westchester, Jennifer has shown a keen eye for scouting new projects and desire to learn a market inside and out. Her organizational skills and focus have helped our team immensely.

Having moved from Colorado, just the thought of purchasing a home in Westchester County was eye-opening, scary, and somewhat uncomfortable. However, because we worked with Jennifer Belew, it wasn’t frustrating or overwhelming. Jennifer advocated for us with her calm yet commanding demeanor. Her professionalism was always present and she helped us navigate this unique process. Jennifer was able to educate us concerning all aspects of our chosen neighborhood. Especially, how difficult it is to buy a home in this small community with a terrific school district. Jennifer listened to what we wanted, offered solid advice and was sensitive to our desires. More importantly, Jennifer understands market value. There was a home we liked and Jennifer knew, based on experience, that the home would not appraise at the asking price. In another instance, Jennifer knew that, although other bids had been offered, it wasn’t time for us to bid above ask. Within three months of working with Jennifer, we found the right home. Given the opportunity, I would hire Jennifer Belew again.
